bookd is a trading name operated by George Stephen Kane, providing outbound lead generation services from the United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK GDPR we act as a data controller for our own website visitors and prospects, and as a data processor when handling contact data on behalf of clients.
To respond to your enquiry, to assess whether our service is a fit for your business, to send you material you have asked for, and to operate and improve the website. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We rely on legitimate interests for business-to-business communication with people who have contacted us or whose role indicates a professional interest in our service, and on consent where you have explicitly opted in. You can object at any time and we will stop.
When running campaigns we process business contact data on our clients' instructions. That data is sourced from commercially available business data providers, held only as long as the engagement requires, and deleted on request or at the end of the engagement. Recipients can opt out of any campaign we run, and opt-outs are honoured across every campaign we operate for that client.
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Client campaign data is retained for the duration of the engagement and for 90 days afterwards.
Under UK GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email george@bookd.uk and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Data is held in access-controlled systems with encryption in transit. We limit access to those who need it to deliver the service.
We will update this page when our practices change, and update the date at the top.
